Speaking at the event, Minister O’Keeffe congratulated Avego for its continued growth and success, saying: “Avego is the kind of outward-looking export-driven firm that the Government, through Enterprise Ireland, is anxious to help grow and generate jobs at home. Clearly, the firm’s focus on innovation and service capacity is helping it to absorb more business from a global client base in a competitive market.”

Avego currently employs 55 people worldwide, with 35 of those in Ireland. The current investment programme will see the company expanding its research and development operations and overseas presence, positioning it to achieve continued global expansion and product leadership.  Already, Avego exports more than 85% of output, and this is expected to increase to over 90% over the next three years.
