You probably wouldn’t be reading this email if you didn’t want to share rides with Avego, so if you don’t already have a profile picture and a schedule added to your account, there’s no better time than now. We did a little digging into our numbers and found a correlation that if you are an Avego user with a photo, it is three (3) times more likely you’ll have gotten a rideshare with Avego.
Those who have a schedule listed also see big improvements in getting matched for rides. It’s 3.5 times more likely that those with schedules will have successfully completed an Avego rideshare. Set up your schedule here
Why is this? Perhaps because having a profile picture improves trust and security between users… and perhaps because having a schedule makes you easier to contact, day after day (otherwise you’d need to be online to appear on the rideboard).
Is finding a picture just too much work? I get it, it has to be just right – well, don’t let the time you have invested in doing exactly the same thing on facebook go to waste. Just link your facebook and Avego account by clicking “Login with Facebook” and hey presto – one effortless profile pic!
With the introduction of Avego Group Leaderboards, it will become ever more apparent when all those picture-less grey avatars float to the bottom of the list and your friendly trustworthy faces rise towards the poll position.
