Avego’s Network Operations Center

Avego’s centralized network operations center (NOC) is responsible for monitoring the use of Avego’s products, ensuring network reliability and providing detailed reports to customers.

The NOC will also generate messages for users of Avego Shared Transport, to inform them about new service availability in their area.

Robbie O’Sullivan recently joined Avego as the manager of Avego’s NOC and its four-person staff.

“Already we have seen ticketing volumes grow from tens of thousands of dollars in January to hundreds of thousands of dollars,” said Robbie. “This is projected to reach a couple of million dollars in volume by the end of the year. To handle this exploding volume, we need to beef up our servers and management processes.”

Avego’s usage volume has been growing on average by 50% month-on-month. The number of iPhone users is on track to reach tens of thousands by the end of the year.
